Richie's "DJ body language" is so awesome with the music. His confidence + obvious love for every song really adds to his stage persona I think. It's fully like this smile, "I have complete control of the room and yeah all this blippy shit might make your face melt off"!

I love DJ maneurisms haha Lawler & Sasha also have great ones.

best review ever, seriously.

Like sam said , felt like i was there.
I felt that was about Canadian pride in richie over there too.

Random German People: "where you from?"
Me: Canada
Random German People: "ahhhh richie hawtin , very nice"

your rant about Luciano was priceless. Keep these reviews coming.

Haha agreed. He is a fun DJ to watch, especially when he's loving it as much as he was at Timewarp. I've never seen him have that much fun before. It's also worth noting again that the booth party was like that for most of his set which added a lot to the experience. It was nice to see the DJs having as much fun as everyone else.

Although when I first heard that song in a WMC video I didn't like it, hearing that song at 10am was epic and was one of the highlights of the party for me.

The music at I Love Techno is a little harder, and the party is a bit more on a smaller scale. Also, I Love Techno went until 8 or 9, whereas Timewarp went until 2pm.

ps. The Germans are serious about their partying! Tresor and Panorama Bar = wowowow. More on that later!

Thanks for the compliments everyone.

Berghain and Tresor will probably be the best, most unique, intense venues I will ever party in. Will upload some pics and videos or Tresor today but nothing from Berghain as its hard enough even getting into the club let alone trying to sneak a camera in.

Yeah, somehow I don't think the Ontario Gov't would look too fondly on granting a 100 year lease to club onwners to build a killer club in the concrete depths of a de-commissioned power plant. In the heart of the city. It's just one of the many things that makes Tresor unique and so bloody unreal.

Looking forward to the Berghain stories too!
