funny you mention about getting banned, similar happened to me, well not exactly but almost.

on my first visit to the Netherlands, i stayed at the park plaza hotel in Utrecht and after some clubbing in Poem, i arrived to my hotel-room, at 4am and decided to take a crap and i have the "crap gets loose with cigarette and is easier to come out" thing.
anyway, i sat down, lighten my cig and did my business. all of sudden an alarm starts. i wtf'd at first but then i realized it was coming from my very own bathroom. i tried to turn it off or something but thing just kept going. 7 mins later someone knocked my door and asked if everything was ok, i opened the door, someone of reception and a firefighter showed up. i explained them what happened and give some apologies to both of them. firefighters left the place with no problem but the hotel staff were very pissed, "didn't you see the smoke alarm?" they told me.
I had to pay 180 euros fine to the hotel for sending out a false alarm.

i liked the random picture of the cat. the city looked really nice and you took some great photos. glad you guys had a great time.
