I disagree a little there... if they were real tight on their marketing, third parties like Armani Exchange or the US/UK ticket distributors would not have advertised ISOS related PR until after it was officially "surprise" announced by PTM.

yeah I have to agree that the planning couldve been better on that
But Im sure you noticed the amount of buzz created by maybe one or two single lines in that press release that weren't even to clear about wether ISOS was coming or not.
Id say it was a ploy from the marketing team, which clearly had everyone guessing right up until the announcement itself

Even when everything else Tiesto went wrong. The ISOS comps still worked for me. Will check this out for sure.

I have to admit I'm somewhat amused by the vast geographical differences between locale titles: from a tiny European island to a massive continent. Yet I wouldn't be surprised if Tijs ignores all but the most cliche styles of music associated with 'Asia' (re: the Orient). Dammit, I want me some traditional Irkutsk folk singing with me trancey beats!

It could be ISOS Switzerland, and the intro will still be the ebbing and flowing of water.

I was thinking about this too. To me it seems like it's always balearic locations and it's always the same balearic pseudo-exotic sound. Even the stuff heard in that video, it could have been Ibiza or central America, it's always the same style.

That would be awesome.

Not expecting that, though.

He should start it with beautiful sounds of a rain forest, and then suddenly you hear large machinery and equipment come rolling into the forest, engines running, humans shouting, and then trees a fallin' over.

That's realism, not this idealistic shit.

I know! I think PETRAN described it well as "summery-nostalgia-vibe trance" or something like that.

Knowing the people we do, you must have some idea that a bundled PR job is more likely than anything intentional.
