Dayum did I enjoy this set. Got me through the shitty traffic coming back from work today.

While I know too little about this style to actually give a halfway decent review I can say it was very smooth, very bumpin, and I really loved all the vocal / spoken word tracks. Great stuff can't wait to hear more.

Ok, I finally listened properly to this today.

The first half of the mix is sleeeek. Everything makes sense there, the first track is great as an opener, and then that whole sequence just has good balance between minimalness, funkyness, tribalness, progressiveness and deepness. Builds nicely to the peak which is Radar. I also liked track #5 a lot.

From there onwards (track 9 or so) I felt the flow went downhill. I love that Guillaume and the Coutu Dumonts track, but it didn't fit very well here. From that point it started going too much into boring-plink-plonk territory to me, but tbh I wasn't paying much attention. Last track grabbed a bit of my attention back though, it's nice.

This is a lot better than some of your sets I had listened to a long time ago, by then you were too much into Sasha-land. This mix was going really strong, you just need to improve on that consistency.

Totally agreed on all counts.

At least I know where to improve Thing is, its hard for me to keep a flow going when I'm basically playing by myself. I need an audience to help me figure out where to go.
