I might be cynical but the only purpose of this competition as with many others is to make money.

Why should budding producers who wish to remix this track have to pay for the samples - most of which they won't use anyway.

Also, a proper remix comp should give you the samples completely dry (no effects - reverb, delay etc) to maximise how useful they can be.

I believe a proper remix comp should also give you the midi files. For many producers, these are more useful than the samples.

These remix comps stink of laziness and greed. They don't give us the tools we need and we have to pay for the privilege.

midi files are generally more useful, but that being said i can make good use out of these samples, i just wish they were dry.

these remix comps do stink of laziness and greed...........but i think im still going to enter lol
