Although I am a cheap bastard, and rarely spend money unless I really need to (my living room still has no furniture ), I like to waste invest quite a lot of money on books (just as I used to buy dozens of CD's every year when I was younger).

And I'm never satisfied with my achievement so, although I don't really go on a buying spree that often, I always think I could be doing better professionally.

Oh and for a chair that will last a long time, Herman Miller Aeron chairs. I have seen them last 10+ years. Very durable chairs. I would say 10+ years, in comparison to most chairs built today, is quite long. I agree that it is not as long as your 30yr old chair, but still an achievement nonetheless.

Oh and I am similar to project-k. I hate having too much shit everywhere. I like my living area to be somewhat minimalist while maximizing the space I have.
