doesn’t sound like a whole lot of TA’s stayed for movement on monday…..which actually turned out to be maybe my favorite day of the fest. if people have already posted about movement on monday i haven’t read them cuz im at work and don’t have time.
anyway…the vibe on monday was still extremely high and there were surprisingly a TON of people there in as high of spirits as ever, including me. we got there around 5:30 went straight to burridge, then cobblestone, wink, dubfire then speedy. I didn’t originally want to stay for dubfire because i wanted to catch saunderson (never seen him before, and he duh shit). but as soon as dubire came out, as much as i don’t like saying this, he brought it hard and heavy and didn’t let up. it surprised the shit out of me and i thought it was great. i couldn’t bring myself to leave accept to catch speedy & pagano close mainsatge. GREAT GREAT sets by all we saw on monday, smile on my face ALL day/night.
sound was great at the beatport tent all weekend long, mainstage was OK depending on where you were standing/raving. i thought it sucked on ground (dance floor) level down front. i never even made it to other stages, oops.
will DEFINATELY go back next year unless I go to mutek instead….OR I will go to both…HA
