this is a question for you pioneer guys out there...
How would you compare the up-faders on djm 400 or 600 to the 800? I've played on the 800 before and I noticed the faders were super smooth and just a great experience to play on. They feel almost as if there's some magnetic rail causing some small amount of resistance that makes it just right

Why not get a pair of turntables and run them using torque......?

I decided to up my spending range so I can go a lot longer without upgrading. I'm trying to decide between an Ecler Nuo 3 and a xone 32. Those seem to be the best mixers I can find for around 600$ Which do y'all think is better and why?

I think in terms of comfort/ergonomics of the mixer, you'd be happy with the nuo3. Plus it has kill on the Eq's, unlike the 32. The 32 does have the lfo filters which is a plus. Also has a replacable crossfader, but I doubt you use that. The biggest issue people have with the 32 is the location of the gains. The 32 was my first mixer ever so getting used to the gains was easy as pie, you might find it annoying at first. Theres some good reviews on the web on both mixers, check em out.

I did the nuo 3.0 over the 32... it's a newer mixer, better design. Nice layout... and big EQ knobs.

Though the Xone isn't exactly crap either

I hate the EQ knobs on the eclers. Gah.

go with the ecler. although xone's are very nice i had a 92, the ecler's are just as good in every aspect if not better. you get way more for your money

Just like everyone else is saying - upgrade your mixer first. It's always first priority for me.

you should def try both the ecler and the 32 as it may come down to personal preferance
