I still dont understand that bastard, 4 years after fudging an exam proof of it.

Wow, what's with that page? It starts English, then seems to turn into Latin, and then transforms into 16 Cygni-B-ese.

I am enjoying my juvenile forensic psychology course

sucks about your linear algebra... my math skills end with statistics.

my math skills will probably never come to an end. all that lifelong learning bullshit that comes along with engineering... but oh well.

ima do back flips when this class is done... thats all i know.

Oh man. All I remember from linear algebra was Gauss-Jordan, or row-reduced echelon form (rref). It's basically useful for solving a system of (linear) equations by stuffing the coefficients into a matrix and performing rref on it.

As far as EE goes, the only thing I managed to apply it to was linear circuit analysis and solving all the things at once. It also comes in handy after you Laplace everything and transform complex stuff into simple, simple algebra problems.

But I guess they want one to have an understanding of the theory before they teach you the tools to make things easier and faster (Matlab). I remember turning in homework that were pages and pages of matrix calculations.

lol! funny you mention that because all the matrix stuff is actually easy... its when you get into vector spaces and subspaces and linear independence and basis and linear transformations and all that nasty stuff that it gets real bad.

really dont need any of that last stuff for my degree, but the matrix shit does help i guess. i just cant wait until this clas is over with.

Matrix "stuff" is very useful, in fact its the only thing that i find useful in various tasks. THe last time i bothered with vector spaces was when i was taking the exam, they never came up again in anything after that

That's probably why it's the only thing I remember from it.

And the other stuff you will probably not use ever again, but you should still try to learn it to the best of your ability. It is frustrating having to do the silly proofs (like 0 + 0 = 0) which aren't all that important except to career mathematicians.

wow thanks for that in depth thought there chief. in the most likely scenario that you're retarded ill explain. i wasnt asking for help. i was simply bitching about the situation im in. i dont remember typing "can someone tutor me?"

Your the retard who majored in engineering and can't hack it with linear Algebra...maybe u should take up business or basket weaving. Shuffle off now.

The instructor decided to erase half the test scores, multiply the score of the Final by 3, and grade on a curve.

Lucky me, I had the highest failing grade.
Unlucky me, the entire class was called in for a day during the summer vacation for an investigation+audit.

I always hated chemistry until I took it my senior year and got a teacher who was 25 and smoking hot. Got an A in that shit with lots of help outside of class from her

Taking an adderall and/or dexy to study is probably the best advise in this thread.

now that thats out of the way... i think i actually did alright on this quiz today. atleast i was able to answer everything unlike the quiz last week. not 100% i did everything right, but my grade will def be better than last weeks. i guess staying up until 3am two nights ago and 4am last night did pay off.
