Yes, but I can do without "Air For Life"!! BUT.. "Can't Sleep" will simply never, ever get old!!

- Unusually bad body odor night

I definitely would have enjoyed it more at 1015, however A&B did a great job.

I noticed that a group of Brits were rather pungent.

Yeah, about that stink bomb: was it all that white powder?? It wasn't in the DJ both, it was above thew speakers on the right side!! WTF was that whtie powder?? It made me choke, and I coouldn't breathe!! Can anyone help explain why this happened? It got in my eyes, hair, and all over everyone!! I stink bomb usually smells like rotten eggs, but a huge could of dust??

Above & Beyond totally redeemed themselves to me after their last mediocre show at 1015.

I first showed up around 9:45 to get my hand stamp before coming back again around 10:45... glad I did. Apparently, line was around the corner. My friends with guestlist, in line at 10:45, didn't get in before 12 midnight, and would have to pay $40 at the door, so they ditched.

A&B did indeed play their signature sound, and that's what I love them for. (They just may be one of those acts that will have a hard time evolving and/or moving away from their signature sound, and oh well, I'll enjoy while it lasts) Lots of great sing along moments, of course. Played 12:30 - 4am, closing with satellite, and then did a couple encores. I had an absolute blast, but I'll wait for others to gauge if this night was really that good.

I think the "stink bomb" was some dumbass employee trying to replicate fog machine smoke with a fire extinguisher (since they were doing a lot of fog earlier in the night, but hadn't in a while). I was a few feet away from it when it happened in the right vip balcony. We had to clear out the area as it was making us choke, with people covering faces with shirts, and actually tasting it and coughing.

I got there and was unprepared for the long line. Then I found out it was $40 to get in. If I was by myself I would have left but I had a guest and wanted to make the best of it. Truthfully, A&B's "fluffy" trance is really not my style for listening at a club (where I want to dance) though I enjoy it if I'm at home.

It was very crowded (hence Ruby's ability to get $40 per person) so I spent most of the night upstairs. The sound kind of sucked upstairs. It was not as deafeningly loud (though I had earplugs so it was OK for me) but it was too bassy. I'm guessing that the sound system is only set up for the main floor so the mids and highs don't make it upstairs.

as said before, the line was unbelievably long...longest that i have ever seen at ruby skye. it was a surprise to see tony and paavo walk right past us to get into the club. after waiting in line for about an hour or so, my friends and i finally got in to find that above and beyond was already on.

what can i say? above and beyond threw it down last night..!! never a dull moment, i enjoyed their track selection. it was even more cool at the end to hear satellite and silence. it was cool that tony and paavo took the time to take pictures and sign autographs after the show.

WTF is that whenever I miss a show (especially when it's by accident) it always ends up being really good..

EVERY TIME!!!

Wahhh...

Hopefully they aren't gone for so long again.

had a blast last night with a big group of friends. there were nine of us, and got a VIP table downstairs. it was a perfect set up to enjoy and listen to the music. the music set was awesome. only bad thing was my brothers camera got stolen, which really sucked. but yeah, they played a lot of their songs from their latest album. however, i was really hoping to hear razorfish but didnt. also, does anyone know if they played Clear Blue Water last night? I couldve sworn they did, but wasn't 100% sure.
