Mmmm tasty match up that was Lots of goals, lots of attacking flair and the Germans manage to find a way through.

Without that donkey Gomez tonight, Germany looked much more comfortable with Ballack running off Klose up front. I still think Podolski is better off in attack, but the lad is doing a good job out there. (the strike tonight from 35 yards was a paint job away from scoring)

Portugal lacked that bit of guile in the second half to break through earlier than they did and Deco was stunning tonight.

Good luck to the Germans and I'm hoping for a re-match with the Croats.

Great game overall though and had me on the edge on my seat till Germany scored the third.
