I love my tribal too, but there's way better other genres of music being produced right now. All the big tribal producers from back in the day, clearly aren't producing that stuff anymore, and the new stuff sucks, so that's why it bugs me when people are still on a tribal trip in 2008.

Me, from time to time, I will listen to a Victor Calderone or Chus and Ceballos set from 2005. But again, a guy like Calderone, he has taken his career to another level by playing his "new" minimal and tech sound.

Even Dubfire is on another planet as of the past 18 months. Just totally, totally on fire.

most of dubfire's productions over the last year are sick, so i'm just hoping to hear a lot of them.. but at the same time expect to get blown away by many unheard tracks, i remember reading in an interview that dubfire likes to find unique sounding producers and push their sounds. haven't heard any sets since his essential mix, but given that and some techier deep dish sets from 2007, i highly doubt he'll disappoint..

and lawler.. i also like his recent space set.. and viva london still gets a lot of play from me. i hope he plays his own femme fatale on skybar before sunrise, can't think of a more fitting track!

also, i think people who complained about steve lawler being too slow will be happy if dubfire raises the bpm by a few notches with his influence. but as knox said to me.. skybar can never really be too banging friggin condos and acoustics

but who knows what direction they will take when playing next to each other - it could be very random.. but all i know is when i leave i will look something like brian peppers
