As nice as Goa is, I find the far too similar kicks and percs start to make them sound a bit stagnent after a while.

Some AWESOME tracks in the mix though, especially the really trancey, uplifting ones

Mixing on the whole was good, but I heard a few transitions that sounded out, either by phrase, or just EQing, but then I have no idea how hard it is to mix Goa having never done it.

Made the journey to and from work enjoyable

Well, goa tracks, especially the old ones, are very hard to mix, mainly because they don't have very good mastering. That's why some transitions are not very smooth.

Anyway, cheers for listening!

Well I didn't listen to this because I thought I'd be dissapointed because I'm really tired and cynical atm but damn I went for it anyway and its awesome! Nonstop banging stuff... I'm kind've tired so can't coherently form memories as to think of flow however some absolutely great moments in there and amazing tracks. It was kind've mainstream trancey especially towards the start (not that, that is necassarily a bad thing... more a combination of the good parts of both goa and epic). I think I know a few epic trance listening friends who are getting this mix burnt for them good job. Much better then your other one.

Hehe, you are the second person (after me ) that thinks this set is better than the previous one.

Thanks for the feedback!

Listened to this at work. Was quite enjoyable throughout, although the tone (mostly spacey-acid workouts) was rather singular. A little more variation would have been nice. I kind of got the impression if I was hearing this at a party, I could have wandered off for a while and come back and not really have missed much.

Still, it was nice to hear some of the old school. Yay Etnica!

Thanks for the honest feedback. I tried to diverse the set a bit with some tracks (Red Moon, Towers of Babylon, Tale of Taketori) but, well, this set was live and the need was for the "spacey goa".

Next set I post here, I will try to be more diversed, so keep an eye on this forum.

EDIT: Oh, just saw your sig. Definitely sounds like a good mix so I will check it out for sure and post a review in your thread.
