You seem to have some trouble with reading comprehension. Let me rephrase it for you:
1) I think IDM is a pretty stupid and pretentious name for a genre.
2) I don't like this track.
3) I can't imagine a track like this being played at a party or festival.

Nice try at trolling, though.

I really do hate the name IDM, but I do like the music associated with it for the most part. And for the record, no, this track isn't suited for a party. Maybe a lounge, but that's about it. Not all dubstep is like this track though.

Everyone is already aware of this, and I haven't seen anyone in this thread trying to be pretentious about the music.

lol, blech, I'm not too well-versed in dubstep to really want to speak to it. Digital Mytikz and Skream make some. But I know I'd be lambasted by the hardcore dubstep people to actually suggest them so I'll let those who are into it provide examples

I only like a select amount of dubstep and most of it isn't the hootinanny ho-down dubstep.

Dubstep and Ket go together well.
