a) Obviously you two cumrags haven't been to BarRio ever since Tiesto raped their budget, which allowed for numerous upgrades in the buildings, including the sound system.

b) I've partied in MANY hotels, my friend. That is the worse conclusion you've come up with. The Beatport Pool Party Remix Hotel at the National in Miami was the last one I went to.

i mean the place looks like the inside of La Quinta, is covered with advertising, and has one of the worst sound systems I've ever heard in a club. it's one thing to have a party actually IN a hotel lobby, and another entirely to make your club look cheap.

The place does not look like the inside of La Quinta if you compare it to other clubs in Houston. WAY BACK WHEN, BarRio did have a horrible sound system, I agree. Again, after Tiesto's arrival and lame ass set the first time around, NightCulture required an upgrade in the sound system, visual equipment, most definitely took down all the banners and ads, and even upgraded the patio; I helped build the platform where dj's lay the cdj's and mixer.

Please go to BarRio again, as it appears you havent been there in years. Done!

hm well i definitely haven't been since the upgrades nor was i aware of them. that place was too tacky for words the last time i was there. unfortunately hawtin is the only thing i've seen booked there that remotely interests me all summer and in september i go back to california so...

my original point remains, Burning Man > Hawtin

guess i won't be seeing the new bar rio for a while.

I get a little tired of seeing the same dj's every year. Zabiela, Sasha and Hawtin are probably what make BarRio stand out as an icon in the Houston EDM.
