all the IMAX shows are sold out for the remainder of the weekend, sorry kids.

Wouldn't matter....there's none in Windsor anyway.
We went to see it last night at a regular theatre.

The theatre I was at last night was definitely not sold out. My friend's mom heard the same thing, but advance tickets were still available online as well as tickets at the theatre. Sounds like someone was lying to the media!

oh I was only referring to the one theater Collosus. Most people I saw going in had the advance tickets printed off 8 x 11.

Oh....when you said "even those were sold out across the board", I thought you meant all theatres were sold out

LOL I'll be more clear next time.
But wouldn't be surprised if it pulls in major figures.
Anyone find it taunting when Joker shouts in the camera 'LOOK AT ME"

'Dark Knight' sets box office record with $66.4M
LOS ANGELES (AP) — A Warner Bros. executive says the Batman sequel "The Dark Knight" has set a single-day box office record by taking in $66.4 million on opening day.
The movie's Friday haul surpasses the previous record of $59.8 million set last year by "Spider-Man 3." "The Dark Knight" also might break the opening weekend record of $151.1 million that also was posted by "Spider-Man 3."
Warner Bros. head of distribution Dan Fellman says the death of co-star Heath Ledger and the buzz about his frenzied performance as the Batman villain Joker was a big part of the movie's allure. '

The movie is entertaining but hardly the best action movie ever (even in IMAX)
8/10 from me.

Overall great, although I thought it dragged on for the last 20mins.
Ledger's performance was everything I thought it would be...definetly brilliant! 9/10

wow, what a great movie. Ledger as the Joker was phenomenal. He played that part so well; full of comedy and crazy all together in one.
There were a couple parts where I must have literally jumped out of my seat, lol. It totally did live up to the hype, although did it really have to be so freakin long. I didn't get out of the theatre until 1:20am.
I really would love to see it in an IMAX theatre now.
