I think there's a clear line of distinction between flipflopping and gathering information, assessing your current position, and altering it due to the new information if you find out that your current position is the wrong position. He gathered information and then changed his opinion thusly.

Flipflopping to me is saying one thing on one day, and then a couple days later saying another thing in an attempt to garner more votes. And if Barack switches his position on this, it's more likely he's going to be "flipflopping" rather than changing his opinion based on facts and information, though I could be wrong, who knows

In any case, barring that off-beat tangent right there, I'm not in favor of these double standards for Barack no matter what foe or agenda he may be up against. Practice what you preach, Barack.
