Stevo, what are you?
Some stunned and drunken poet?

You are right in a way, but when you re-read your own post you'll see how much you over-exaggerated it by putting Trance in the center of the universe. It may be really important to us, but it dusn't mean that it's that important to others. That's why trance will only die when we do.

If trance dies then ill see you at my funeral..Trance will never die...it will get better...Electronica music has been around long enough to stay alive.

King trance is too powerful

look yall, we're gonna be giving our grandkids all of our "old school" trance cd's and they're gonna be like, what? this stuff is so old...peep this!...know what I'm saying, it's only gonna evolve into the next form. with electronica the possibilities are truly endless. trance hasn't even taken america by storm yet, that's a clue on how new and innovative trance is. america is a "gauge" if you will, on trance's evolution. trance still has a long way to go before we even discuss this topic. good question though...late

trance or any other music genre dies when the good producers stop making new stuff (they become too old ) and the newcomers just can't do it, that is, they produce shit. Nevertheless, I think it's fair to say that electronica is here to stay and the more justified question nowadays would be: when will rock die? (when the rock fans die, of course! )

It's funny though that trance/technoraves and the scene get publicity only when cops bust people at raves (like last Saturday @ Labyrinth 2001... 30 people busted... E, speed, gamma, hash etc).

never.. I don't think the present form of trance music will always. exist .. but then i think that trance music transcends what the people on this board normally would think of as trance(there are many other forms of contemporary which i consider trance) i mean.. sinse humans have existed someone has be beating on drums creating tribal rythyms to dance to .. this is just the most recent incarnation of tribal music.. there will always be some form of trance inducing music which brings people together to dance..
