I've studied several doomsday scenarios and am not all that convinced about it, either.

I do find it interesting that the Vatican has a sculpture of a broken Earth with a comet stuck in the side of it, though

If that scares anyone, definitely don't watch this:

haha! look, im the first to admit im no saint. i really respect some of the users on here that conduct themselves with such maturity and dignity on a music forum. but fuck, its politics. people have been murdering and torturing people over politics since forever, so i dont think a rude tone on a forum is all that bad in comparison

but i dont think that the eternally-condescending tones of the CT peddlers are any better i try to give the rest of the users in this forum some respect, even if i fail at times. but we all have our cross to bear

I actually have JREF bookmarked, at one point it was even in my bookmarks tool bar . The only reason why I didn't register was as I wouldn't be able to copy / paste their "intellectual property" posts with out the consent of the user, one of the terms you had to agree to before you could sign up .

The Vatican are definitely a weird bunch.

They apparently enjoy displaying their symbolism for everyone, too...

I think it's a show of ignorance and naivete more than anything else.

If you understood how fierce the lobbyists, corporations, and corrupt politicians can be in achieving their own ends you probably wouldn't find it so silly.

The major ISP's haven't exactly been paying teams of lobbyists and lawyers large sums of money to press for this because they expect to be defeated. The United States Telecom Association spent $27,000,000 on lobbyists alone in 2005. How much do you think the people are giving their lobbyists to fight them? Oh yeah, nevermind, we the people don't have lobbyists.

I guess you can't exactly wake someone up if they're only pretending to be asleep.

Do you know what the part of my state (Maryland) that Washington, D.C. now resides in used to be called?
