I own a 92 and use it as a passthrough for my controller. The sound quality of Allen and Heath is phenominal, even clipping seems to have it's own signature sound, which is by no means distorted. The club i play at has a DJM800, which don't get me wrong, has a clean digital sound to it, but I make the extra effort to haul my 92 in every weekend (yes the difference is that great!) I own the rotary 92 and would have to say, If you like rotary for more stiff gain control, then go nuts. For me, rotary or fader really has very little difference (rotary only takes about 2 1/2 minutes to get used to anyway) plus i use a separate midi controller and only use the mixer to mix from my laptop to my 1 tech (which accounts for about 1/10th of my sets)
