looking at the bigger picture trumps any low paying job. It's called putting in your time, something you young skallawags know nothing about! Look where you want to be in a year, if that place is with that company then show up to the first day of work

That's exactly why I applied for the job at first. According to my friend, I could get a good promotion in a few months, and I could easily make about four times more than I do now. However, after talking to the owner of that place, I've started to have second thoughts.

As you said, it only makes sense when you look at the big picture.
