His first “real” tracks, even in their early stages, showcased his undisputable talent. He discovers the power of entertaining, and not least his natural talent for reaching out and connecting with a crowd. But the one thing that was missing was a creative direction. This last piece of the puzzle came to him listening to national Danish radio’s weekly electronic radio show D’Store Mix. Week after week, Mike is drawn to the exciting sounds and concepts of the different genres presented to him by the nations leading house & techno dj’s. Respected DJ and producer DJ Lasse Lovelace reaches out to Mike and connects him with Danish Techno Label M.I.S. Around the same time Mike meets Denmarks most famous producer Anders Trentemøller who, already familiar with Mike’s productions, gives him some production advice. Another stand-out moment in this early stage of his growing career, Mike Sheridan is now a name flying around the electronic scene, and at one point it ends up with the radio that so heavily inspired Mike.

Since meeting in 1998 in their home town of Copenhagen, Tomas Barfod and Kasper Bjørke have produced a bunch of hits under the artist name FILUR. International chartings and tours all over Europe and even in far away places like Japan, followed in the years to come. With the two award winning albums released via Playground and Mega/Edel Records, winning them two Danish Music Awards for Best Producers and Best Dance Album as well as six DJ Awards, Tomas and Kasper established themselves as a wellknown act on the Danish electronic scene, both as djs and producers.
