i think that the MC's @ the Italian clubs are probably the worst.
i have this one set; Samim - Live @ Cocorico (12.31.2007) the MC is so fukn hammered & talks pretty much thruout the whole set. he keeps on slurring "samim" & rambles some other shit in Italian for like 5mins straight on 2 or 3 occasions w/in the set. i havent listened to the whole thing bcuz of that idiot
Yeah Italy's got it the worst... They feature the name of the MC bigger than some of the headliners... There was a night with James Zabiela at Cocorico' that I went to where his name was like size 10 font, and the MC, some tranny dude, was 35 font, it's pathetic... And when you tell Italians that there aren't any MC's in America, or in most countries' clubs, they look at you wierd like "how do you not have MC's in clubs?" haha... I used to go to amazing parties in Italy, but in a matter of 3-4 years, everything's turned into shite, and the MC is just part of it

MCs are the worst thing that can happen to trance and house sets, they don't belong there!! Pete Tong I don't consider an MC and he's awesome when he talks, but that's because he knows the songs and he brings something to the set. I still remember Energy 2000 when Tiesto tries to drown out the MC during Airwave haha.
