Stories from the Rwandan genocide era. Very well-written with an intensive background of how the country's severe problems came about....as well as personal tales of the trauma that went about during that time. Combo of political/historical/personal. Tons of awards won for this book, and for good reason.

hmm this one sounds interesting...might take a look at it, thx!
...right after i finish reading "Dude, wheres my country?" by Michael Moore (pretty intriguing so far i must say- i love a person who isn't afraid to speak his mind n attack)

KEEP POSTING TITLES GUYS!!

I enjoy the TV show Dexter a lot, decided to pick up the first book, "Darkly Dreaming Dexter". Half way through and really enjoying it. If you're unfamiliar with the show it's about a forensic scientist who specializes in blood splatter who is also a serial killer.

However...my friend who has read all of the books thus far (3) says that Jeff Lindsay introduced supernatural powers in the third book, that it was awful, and to only bother reading the first two books.
