I know that, I'm referring to the general stereotype.
Your average manly man's main interests are sports, beer, cars and tits.
UK newspapers and lad mags are a prime example of the sector of society I can't stand.
But then I am probably just bitter, as the only vaguely masculine thing I am interested in is computers/video games, and whilst generally a masculine area of interest, they are not manly as such, lol. |
Being a computer programmer for a living doesn't really make the pants come off the ladies as quickly as one would think. Unfortunately, that's what I am, but I don't really tell that to chicks right off the bat. I want to seem like more of a manly guy, but I guess growing up in the suburbs with a fascination for computers, techno, and video games never really taught me how to be confident in myself around the ladies.
I have a lot of cool friends who aren't computer geeks, and we do drugs and party, but they all have girlfriends. So basically, I'm on my own at parties, I can't have my single friends back me up or be my wingman. I'm a student too, of computer engineering mind you, which means there are ZERO opportunities to meet chicks. Any tips for a single nerd like me?
