This is the crap we have to put up with on a daily basis. Thank god the 'real' hype is over now. Even grandma's and little kids (and by little I mean aged 6 and under) were trying to jump. Sheez, don't really want to be around such people.

It's the simplest task in the world to make a Hardstyle song. Get a heavy kick sample, a ride, an annoying synth, and a moogy bass (optional) and make a really stupid/minimalist melody with your annoying synth. Repeat. Variations in the track are not necessary.

Also hardcore isn't a bad genre, its just like hard trance (hardstyle was never good) its allmost entirely cheese now. However when a decent jungle artist does a hardcore song and it gets chucked in a jungle set I certainly don't mind.

I've been getting into schranz recently and wow, its like similar tempo, and exact same idea (even similar kick sounds sometimes) but its amazing how much fucking more rythmn/melody there is in the tracks, and how much better it is because of it. Yet again proof that hardstyle sucks.





Theres also some quality heavy metal (or nu metal etc but would fall under heavy metal genre) so I think the term your looking for is actually death metal.
