the point is that it doesn't matter what he did/has done for american music/rave scene, the point is that this set SUCKS and there is NOTHING you can do about it

face it, it's a bad set. you don't have to like every set of him just because he is important to you music scene

Ok i generally try to see him every time he comes to Denver.. and his set with Donald Glaude here was the 3rd sickest live set behind Armin and somehow MSTRKRFT threw down an amazing set at #2 haha. and i've seen alot of people... Just cause you don't have the "house connection" does not make him a bad DJ. And this mix was different I'll admit. But honestly just cause it isn't trance doesn't make it bad... you just needa broaden your horizon and appreciate the work put into the set... and lets be real trance is generally easy to spin cause not too many people actually actively spin it. DJ Dan really gets into his sets and doesn't just press play to the next track.. it must have been insanely fun to actually have spun this.

And i might've read wrong cause i've just been skimming but whoever said the scene started in the states are you serious? haha dude.. no.. i'm sorry haha.
