Ever since I became fluent in english, I've adopted an appropriate accent for using the language which often sticks around if I quickly switch from that to my native tongue, and the reverse is also true. So, when using both english and french in a short timespan, french speakers tend to think of me as a native anglophone, whereas english speakers think of me as a native francophone (which I am).
