There is a difference, though.

Upper middle class have lifestyles and interests closer to rich people than to the working class.

Lower middle class have lifestyles and interests closer to the working class than to the rich.

I know people that don't smoke cigarettes but will have hookah parties at their house. Those same people will tell me to go outside and smoke my cigarette while they are puffing their crap.

I understand your frustration, but cigarettes actually smell bad IMHO. That's probably the only reason.
