Well if it goes that long, i wouldn't be worried about tuition.

I'd be worried because you won't be getting you're credits and will have to be in school for even longer.

There is nothing that will compensate your semester that is lost.

I definitely hear the issue, but I'm keeping myself busy regardless (actually, about to head off to work). As a result, I'm not terribly concerned.

I have many things to be doing and typically don't organize my time well enough to do everything I'd like to be, so this will (hopefully) give me a chance to sort things out.

I feel bad for the international students
At least I get to head back home today and I have somewhere to stay and the option to work during the strike.
They literally have just the campus, whose services are going to be reduced during the strike. No work permits. And their plans to go back home for the summer will be royally fucked if the semester extends into May.

I am honestly very upset about this. I have no idea why but I'm actually sad. I'm trying to laugh it off but I keep feeling like my education is being taken from me communism-style.

I have an inside source who tells me that unless something drastic happens within the next 48 hours, the chances of a resolution in the near future are slim.
