just a visual effect along the lines of green screens except the cameras are angled in co relation to x,y and z positions calculated by a computer

if anyone noticed, bothe blitzer and cooper, even tho they faced the image, were looking to their right (where the composed image was displayed on a screen).

if it were a hologram, he would be able to see her projection before his eyes right there

The technology is apparently called "virtual set technology".

So its the exact same technology that they use in football games to show us the 1st down line, except for this they used 35 cameras to give us the 3-D effect.

apparently they made it lower quality so fools like us wouldn't think it was real if they were just turning into the channel. they made it extra crap so we would know the girl was a not actually in the studio.

besides the distortion, you could easily see an outline of her shape.

I don't know if that was something they programmed to be of lower quality, but you could easily tell that it was an image and not an actual person.

The same thing goes for when they use this technology in sports games. There are lot of times when they will cover up certain ads and display canadian ads over top. You can easily see which ones are real, and which ones are digitally imaged.

I wonder what she would've looked like if they didn't 'lower' the quality.
