I know what you mean. I always hesitate a lot on releasing live recorded sets because indeed, it's an all different level of intention and usually people that weren't there don't like it as much. Cause those live are more about controlling your body for several hours, then interesting your brain for 1 hour. It usually comes out as more linear, and some parts that work well in the moment of the night, don't work as well when you just listen to it. It's all about energy exchange.
