Actually, I haven't seen one instance in this thread where anyone has "made" you write why you support Chambliss (whom I will be voting for as well because Martin is a ninny). All Sam has done is post random smilies and told you to chill the fuck out, you've just taken it upon yourself to act like a tool.
Just sayin'. |
Here's what he said, "Zach, put some substance behind your views before you get flamed and complain about us "hating" again." All I had done was voiced my support of Chambliss.
I don't think I've acted like a tool. Obviously Sam thinks I haven't come across very well. And this goes back to the thread about the presidency too. Sam told me many times to explain my views. Of course he can't make me, but my point is, can I not believe what I believe with out a huge explanation? Just like you say you support Chambliss because Martin is a ninny, I'm surprised he hasn't asked you to explain more.
Anyways, I know politics is a passionate subject and especially in this election it has really divided us. I don't want to make any enemies here. I know some of you were on fairly friendly terms with me and I hope I'm not going to be the forum tool now. There are much better candidates for that, but I won't name names. LOL
Enydo, maybe my remarks were unnecessary. I can't judge you by a few comments on a forum.

You did more than "show...your support for Chambliss". If I would've said the same thing about Chambliss, wouldn't you want me to give you my reasoning? I mean.. afterall, this is a forum where people post information.
All I did was advise you back your statements up before people start flaming you, and then you get defensive without even an attack aimed at you. |
Are you talking about the fact that I stated he got more votes? If you are, I thought that was just common knowledge to anyone who watched the news. Here's a link to the vote totals though if it makes you feel better. Saxby got more than 100,000 votes more than Martin. He's going to need to find a lot of people willing to change their minds or come out to vote.

As far as what I mentioned about how all Martin does is attack Saxby for supporting "George Bush economics," I find it a sad attempt to try to link him to Bush, who is unfortunately unpopular. Any sane person would realize that Bush isn't the only one who makes things happen. I'm sure it's flattering to him for people to give him so much power, but people keep forgetting Congress plays a part too. Instead of laying out what he believes in in his commercials, that's what he keeps referring to. Here's a link to one of those attack ads. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRA1...feature=related
There's at least 2 or 3 more where he uses that phrase also.
That's why I made that statement. So, now I've explained my first post on the subject.

No. I was referring to what was quoted.

You're right. The president isn't 100% responsible for this nation's economic plan. Congress takes a huge role. In fact, I bet the our senators are involved!
