Didn't happen to me but to a friend.

He where sitting in his couch chilling, when suddenly his 10 years old son comes though the door all blue in the face, telling him that a old man tried to strangle him.

He ran over to the man and beat the shit out off him, the old man pulls a knife on him and chase him around, but my friend gets away.

The police comes and arrest and questions the old man, he is free to go a few hours later, till the trial, the old man lives about 25 meters from my friend.
