i know ALOT of shit tracks which has some great elements in it just begging for a remixer discovering its potensials which the original producers could not (example above and beyond - no one on earth and its gabriel and dresden remix - original SUCK, remix one of the best vinyls i ever had).
I have not listened to this track so im not supporting anyone here. I understand it has vocals, much can be done with vocals only. And another point, what the hell is the point remixing a great track? Why destroy it? Example: Arnej - They Always Come Back... why remix that? |
+1
nearly all of my favourite tunes are remixes... somehow when another producer looks at a tune they can often get better stuff out of it..
+ if you can't find a way to get something good out of this you mustn't have much creativity happening...

i'm a n00b man, but remixes are Awesome for learning: you don't have to worry as much about the melody which means you have more time to spend on structure, rhythm, and eventually FX and mastering
this is pretty much an awesome opportunity to get your skills up, enter and get some feedback on how you're going
