Levels is...decent...damn better than a lot of the shite dominating the charts at the moment. It sounds absolutely nothing like...a billion and one similar tracks in this big-room style. I always had a soft spot.

The thing about it is that hes trying 2 bring a new style tho just like he did with Just be and it worked. they songs areunt TOO HIGHT up. but the vocals acaully are the best thing in 2007. Beatport is actually one of the few Flash-based sites that i don't mind.
I wonder what their excuse for a price rise this time will be.
The only good thing about Beatport thesedays is that their samples are quick and easy to listen to. When you're hunting through a pile of random tracks to find a good one (found some gems this way), its a hell of a lot quicker on Beatport than it is on other sites.

I don't agree here. Beatport's user experience is probably the worst of all digital stores when it comes to listening samples. They don't have a playlist, user interface's responsiveness is slow ( not because it's flash but because it's bad coded ), preferences are lost when you navigate threw the site, ...
That's unfortunate because, yes, it looks like they have the fastest bandwidth speed

Nice layout update, and the player is nice too, with the new feets.
I hate how they are trying sound like what they just did is revolutionary because pretty much all the other music sites had that functionality.
I don't mind Flash either. They've been using it for a long time and it hasn't given me any problems.
They could maybe harness the power of flash a little bit more. They should make it so if you click on the back button in your browser, it should take you to the previous page within beatport (this can be done with Flash).
Also, I wouldn't mind having the ability to send someone a link to the artist/album/track directly, instead of just saying "beatport.com".

get rid of flash, let me use cookies and automatically log in, let me create my own front page to beatport so I don't have to see the top 10.
