Really? Israel has been under attack and threat by all its surrounding neighbors for over 50 yrs.

And Israeli's want nothing but peace for the past 50 yrs. Where's the muslim peace movement? Nowhere. Cuz militants would kill them if they even thought about it.
Israel is trying to be as specific as possible with their attacks on known Hamas bases. They warn civilians beforehand, to limit casualties. This has ALWAYS been their policy, and I dont think you'll find many other militaries in the world who would offer that same courtesy in their attacks. Do casualties happen? Unfortunately yes. Palestinian authorities are reporting that majority of the people who have died in these recent attacks ARE Hamas members. Hamas sends in hundreds of rockets at civilian locations, with no warnings, they are out to kill as many innocents as possible. Do you really think Israeli's should sit there and take that?
Hypothetically speaking, say you had your way and Israel was given back and Palestinian rule was created, do you think they would let the millions of Israeli's there live in peace, side by side? No. They'd try and drive them all out, or try and kill every last one of them, just because. And then they'd go throw candy in the streets, like they always do when they kill a Jew. Then they would go and destroy every last Jewish cemetary, sacred sight, historical landmark, and wipe out thousands of years of Jewish history, because that's what they've done in the past when given the opportunity. (Remind you of anything?) Israeli civilians NEVER rejoice when a Palestinian is killed, militant or civilian, no candy is thrown in the streets, they dont raise their children to hate them and fill their heads with propoganda, and they certainly dont go destroying Muslim holy sites. So unless you have a better plan, tell me why this forseeable future is something Israel would even consider. Until the Palestinians say 'enough is enough, we dont want these militant groups putting us in danger like this', and move forward with a political peace process and not a militant one, there will never be a positive outcome for them.
