that was fun!!  richard, another contributor on itm was having his first gig as well before me, i think we did great haha i was almost too scared to look up but people were dancing throughout so it was ok hehe. i think i need practise with pioneer cdjs, i'm so used to the denon ones where you push a button for pitch bend instead of moving the wheel, it's so much easier, i struggled a bit getting the hang of it. i think my mixes were alright though haha. my horror story though was the sound from the main room, when a guy called gerald came on i think, the bass just exploded into the side room! it sounds wierd when you have everything turned up, but i couldn't hear a fucking thing i was doing, and at that point i was trying to beatmatch skydive on vinyl after some cds and i just couldnt hear it! i thought it might have been my track distorting or soemthing so i was turning it down, but it was actually from the main room and i had to keep trying to turn it up a bit, then when i played the next cd it was loud as hell lol. so those 2 transitions were shit but i recovered after hehe. so yeah overall it was good fun, hard concentrating though hehe. dave pham thought we both went well so we might be going back at some point
