Got there at 3:30, no line up what so ever with my ticket, tried to get in with my camera but the security guys didn't want that to happen. So he told me to either bring it back to my car or bring it to the coat check. I put it at coat check (good move). I was still a bit tired because of the crazy ass night just before with Mistress Barbara @ Aria.
Right away I did a tour of the venue, going up the stairs and finding the bathroom, the venue looked very nice from the first mezanine, what happened to the second mezanine? wasn't it supposed to be open? Anyways, the lighing were minimal IMO and didn't live up to a big rave. Having one bathroom sucked also cause it was always crowded. And the silence in there was very very weird
The sound was ok, horrible at some point, very good at other, but generaly juste average, let's just say its a new venue and it isn't always easy to find the perfect settings for a sound system. Wonder if its TurboSound or Phazon, either way my ears still are ringing and that's almost 24h later. I stayed longer at Aria with louder music and no ringing.
Anyways, on with Tiesto. In the first hour, it was pretty average, I just liked the first song and maybe one other. But from the second hour onward, it got better by the minute. Lots of classic, lots of stuff I never heard, amazing overall, never ask me to ID a song, I never remember the track names. The last 30 minutes were out of this world. I was just dead tired, and could barely dance in the end. Tiesto was awesome, everything I had hoped for. Still, IMO, I'll get flamed, but Armin's set was better last April.
The crowd was very good looking, which I like, loooots of grrrrrrls, and very nice people overall. Still hate those sweaty-shirtless-7-feet-tall-twice-my-width-mofos for rubbing against my holly Deutschland jersey .
Nice to meet you all again, FastMp3, Spoutnick and Sputnick, ZinG, the crew from Ottawa (can't remember your nicks), Nick the Greek guy, Jimmy, Skipper and her bf from TO, Orangemek and his girl, Elsee, Happy (thanks for the candy ), I think I saw stereoprincess but couldn't reach her, Rnakr was like 3 meters in front of me, and some other people I had met at Aria the day before. You guys made this experience more than enjoyable. Delstar, castrateur, dieselgirl and the others hope i'll catch y'all next time.
At 7:15 I was about to leave and went at coat check to get my camera and noticed no security around... so.... I came back and managed to take some pics, too bad I didn't catch Tiesto
Now I'm so tired that I'm not even thinking about Gielen or Oakie or...

All I can say is --> I really love Montreal!!!
Hehehee... just got back home to Toronto, and decided to throw in my 2 cents.
The Pepsi Forum (AMC Theater, or whatever that was) is an amazing place for parties of this kind... and it was set up just right! Sound was great too (maybe a bit too loud, but still clear), and the tunes were just out of this world... Lots of nice girls (for a change), lots of weird experiences... all in all, a smashing party, including the afterparty at Sona (XL is the man!)
I might add a few more words later, but now I am going back to well deserved and needed sleep (no sleep for the last 30 hours - no good!)
