Also, I read (on IMDB) that one or two audience members who were present at the Letterman taping have revealed that it was indeed an act (e.e. Joaquin laughing with Dave and the audience in between takes).

If it were real would Letterman really come back to Joaquin after the commercial break... would Joaquin's people (publicist, manage, etc etc) really let him go on air like that??
