He sounds like a whiny douche, who's unhappy with his life, but responds to advice with, "you don't understand" or excuses on why he can't do anything. Any idiot could figure out for themselves that large cities such as Toronto, Montreal, or Vancouver, would be more than adequate (at least for someone who's not a loser). But I'm sure you prefer the safety of pining away after some unattainable dreams that you'll never achieve. |
That is absolutely ridiculous.
Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver are not necessarily "adequate" for those who hunger experience with a different culture, different people, and new varying sights, activities etc. *especially* when they have lived in that region their entire life.
Living in Canada is living in Canada. There are small differences province to province, but it's pretty much all the same (with exception to some of the eclectic touristy type towns and the north).
It sounds like you have a superiority complex.
Wanting to adventure outside of what you know is commendable. However, wanting to do it because there isn't enough "partying" is a pretty lame excuse, but whatever - to each their own.
I don't know anything about moving to another country, but I would suggest moving to another province. It is a good stepping stone, helps you up-root yourself, and it isn't as scary/difficult. If you can handle that, then you can try to tackle moving to another country. That's what I am doing right now
