True. But still, who takes someone else's coat and doesn't notice, unless you have an identical coat?

Oh well, it's not like I'm in jail or I lost an arm or anything, but lesson definitely learned.

I'm going back to mope now.

I had a lot of fun. It was nice to go out finally to a big dark room lol. Everything last year was a daytime/summer party.

I feel like I can hold out till april or something like that. Music was good, a lot of guys at first which was weird, and thank god it packed up... at midnight i was shitting my pants it wasnt going to get full. other than that dubfire was sick and fanciulli ripped it up. the sound system was better this time around compared to last.

Something tells me they didnt take it by accident or mistook it for theirs, especially if it was $300 bucks.

i agree Nada. My night sounds a lot like yours. Liked Squillace a lot....listened to his set....then went to the Orange Room and also saw the Junkies. I had a pretty good time in there. Went back to Guv and tried to get into Dubfire....but just couldn't get into it. Left super early though (2AM...was feeling rough on Day 3), so i'm sure it could only have gotten better after i left. Judging by the reviews maybe i should have stuck it out a little longer, but i was exhausted. I saw lots of familiar Footwork faces which made me very happy

I have to say the best night of my long wknd of beats was The Junkies and The Roaches @ Footwork on Friday. That night was retarded!!!!

Had a pretty good time. It was nice being back in guv again. Been since NYE since ive gone out to a big party, and even longer since stepped foot inside guvvy.

i like what i was hearing from tommy sunshine.

only wish id had my earplugs with me. regretted that, at times i found the volume painfully loud... im sure u saw me grimacing at the volume more than a few times, barrie.

A friend of mine lost his iPhone too, so we were pretty eager to get the hell outta there by 5:00am or so.

Never the less, another wicked night of partying. Coats come and go...the memories of a party will always still with you...unfortunately, the coat and iPhone loss will too, but that's well overshadowed by what transpired during the rest of the evening.

Back to the party talk.

Early on:
So what happened with Ali anyways? One minute he was setting up his laptop to go on after Davide, he played a couple of songs, then out of the blue I look up and Nic is playing about 20/30 minutes later. I kinda got wind that Ali was pretty messed up and had to leave for a while, but then I saw him return. I didn't see him go back on, but he was hangin' out behind the booth again. Probably had a rough one in Montreal the night before.

Later on:
When I left around 5:00am walking from the Orange Room into the Main Room felt like going from a baseball stadium crowd full of energy to a library. Anyone else experience that? Zombie nation was in full effect in there it seemed. Maybe I was just trying to tune everything out because I was leaving, but wow...talk about a shift in gears.

Ali didn't play a single track after squillace, his laptop never touched the table, it was in the hands of that other sound crew Guy the whole time, then next thing you know, fanciulli plugs in and starts playing, while dubfire ducked off to who knows where.

As for my review of the night; I don't really have much of one. I ran into all the right people, checked out squillace who was really good, and then caught some of fanciulli before I got suddenly sick and had to leave.

Although I didn't catch the triple b2b at the end, I was pretty happy that I got to see what I did of fanciulli. My night was ruined when I walked in and saw the timeslots placing Nic at 4. Having partied the night before I wasn't to keen on troopering it til the place closed down. But thankfully there was the switch and my disappointment turned into awesome happiness !!

My only complaints for last night were that squillace had a few moments where I felt like I didn't know what to do, or how to dance, the other, visuals. Most people wouldn't give a shit and I'm probably the only one who thinks this, but man I was sick of seeing the rabbits from groove armada's music video for "get down" after 5 minutes, it mustve been on for what felt like a half hour. Really though, only minor complaints on what was otherwise a great night (the short time I was there)

Nice seeing/meeting everyone that I did !! Missed you guys !

"You are virtually the ring leader, the way I see it."
Then, I blew out the candle.
