heh...usually have something on the back burner
currently 1/3 of the way thru Balck Hawk Down...i was told the book is *far* more graphical than the movie 
(kinda ironic i think...if that's the right word...which i have a feeling it isn't  )
also, about 1/2 way thru Otherland volume 4...breezed thru the first 2, then slowed on the third...and the 4th has taken me forever!
but...picked up again lately & i wanna finish it soon
and about 3/4 way thru the Beach...second reading...definitely definitely far better than the movie...i read it before watching the movie...then wasn't to impressed with the movie, so i thought i'd read the book again 
...Rainbow Six is quite good i think...haven't read many of Clancy's others, there was the movie one (not Red October & not Patriot Games, but the next one) which was good too
