I've got a Nokia 6301 on Fido, small bar style phone, nice mid-price job but not a smartphone. Does everything I want, keeps my monthly cost low, and I have an iPod Touch for surfin etc. Maybe Rogers can get it, otherwise they're for sale on Craigslist and a person could get one unlocked.

It's small and thin, I put it in my shirt pocket all the time. Hard to find a nice thin case but today I saw some leather ones at http://www.beyzacases.com/default.cfm

Build quality is good & solid, the display ones at Fido stores are flimsy and not the same. Camera image quality barely acceptable. Call sound is good, BlueTooth good, music sounds good esp on headphones (but the A/V player is lame), FM radio. Display is good (QVGA) and quality images you USB download from a computer look great. Has the UMA Wi-Fi phone connection thing that is $15/mo extra cost but I never tried that. Daily charging almost mandatory.
