well you cant really get a new mac for $450 so there's no choice.. looks like the only thing you can get is an asus eeePc and i'm not sure what that can run

If you have the money and want to use the computer for music programs and DJing only id definitly recommend the Mac.

If you need a do everything laptop then id say stick with good ol PC.
