Network+, I basically did a quick read of the sybex book or another one and wrote the exam, got like 960/1000...not much value out of it.
Although, the biggest waste of certification money was to do get my M$ certs.....and i dont even use the knowledge as I work in UNIX now :P
In total, i wrote like 9 M$ exams.
The CCNA cert gave me a whole lot more knowledge than network+. However, it expires after 3 years...never bothered renewing it.
I still think that the best IT education you can get is hands on, will to learn on your own, and a univ. degree. The univ. degree will cover a wide range of theory from programming, math, OS structures, distributed systems, networking, security, etc etc.
