I remember loving Sandstorm the first time I heard it, and hating it the fourth time I heard it. It'd been played four times in a row at a house party.
What a great guy.

Was actually '01 now that I remember, which doesn't change anything though.
You're right, that was long ago and he could've change/improved, but I'm guessing if I didn't enjoy him when I was a complete trance head then I wouldn't now.

Okay iv hurd the Album and lemmi tell you guyz.... Tiesto is gono make it back to the top again with these hits. The thing about it is that hes trying 2 bring a new style tho just like he did with Just be and it worked. they songs areunt TOO HIGHT up. but the vocals acaully are the best thing in 2007. Sandstorm was what kicked off the trance era of 98-2000 in the UK.
I remember it was the first trance track I had heard.
I used to love Sandstorm, and even have the single. But it has been utterly overplayed and isn't a good enough track to stand up to that many repeats. Now I'm just sick of hearing it.

Yeah. It was originally released in 1999 and the local jocks played it here long before that. The first UK release also came out in 1999 in a relatively smaller pressing but it wasn't until 2000 when it got a massive scale international release.
