So true - I serviced our mutual fiend's one  when I was at Turdkey and fuck me the psu is a big bugger. The thing is beautiful though, those rotaries move so smooth.....mmmmmmm.
Oh, it has nothing to do with lead poisoning as such. ROHS compliance came in and rather than re-source everything they discontinued as there isn't exactly a huge market for $4000+ valve rotary mixers.
