There is that. Or, it could be a reflection on your belief that said crowd, for various impertinent reasons which I will not spell out here, would not be able to tell the difference anyway, making it a waste of money to be "100% positive" about the authenticity.
Honestly though, it's extremely rare for a power seller to be putting out counterfeits. Someone will figure it out, and you'll see it in the feedback. If you're buying from some dodgy store that just opened up 3 days ago and is selling at less than 50% of the MSRP, well then, caveat emptor.
