I concur with Ivand and Nachos, although I will add that in common, daily life usage, nobody says "Yo fui", it's pretty much just "Fui". although, both forms are correct, "Yo fui a la estacion de tren" is more formal, while "Fui a la estacion de tren" is more casual

Native speaker here, too

Ya i would also add "mierda" to the end of the sentence so that the feeling of taking the train is emphasized.

The word "Estacion" by it self doesn't tell you much unless the other person knows what you are talking about and it also means "seasons" ( summer, fall, winter, autumn )

Estacion could be :
Estacion de bus = Bus station
Estacion de Radio = Radio station
Estacion de tren = Train station




it would absolutely sound better if you say:

Yo fui a la Estacion de Tren .

or a little bit more casual

Me fui a la Estacion de tren.
